Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Microsoft Copilot connect to wecantrack?
You add wecantrack as an MCP tool in Copilot Studio (Tools, then Add a tool, then Model Context Protocol), pointing at https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp. Your Copilot agent then reads your attributed conversion data when you ask.
Where can I find the wecantrack MCP server URL?
It is shown on the MCP page inside your wecantrack account. Copy https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp and paste it into the Copilot Studio tool. This URL may change while MCP is in beta.
Does the consumer Copilot app support this?
No. Adding a custom MCP server is a Copilot Studio (business) feature. The consumer Copilot at copilot.microsoft.com does not support user-added MCP servers yet.
Do I need a paid Microsoft plan?
Yes. Connecting an MCP server runs through Copilot Studio, which needs a Copilot Studio subscription and Power Platform connector access. An admin may need to allow the connector first.
What data can Copilot see?
Copilot reads the attributed conversion data in your wecantrack dashboard, including transactions with advertiser, commission, status, SubIDs and EPC. It reads that data to answer your questions.
How is this different from the other integrations?
The connection is the same wecantrack MCP connector. Microsoft Copilot connects through Copilot Studio for business users, GitHub Copilot works in VS Code, and Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini suit chat-style questions.
