How it works
How Cursor reads your wecantrack data
Cursor is an AI code editor, and the wecantrack MCP connector lets it read your data directly. Add wecantrack as an MCP server and sign in, then ask Cursor about your data: analyse it, break it down, and build the reporting code around it. Because the data sits in your editor next to everything else, you go from question to script without leaving Cursor.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Cursor connect to wecantrack?
You add wecantrack as an MCP server in Cursor, in Settings, then Tools & Integrations, or in your mcp.json file, pointing at https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp. The agent then reads your attributed conversion data through the connector when you ask.
Where do I put the wecantrack MCP config?
Add it in Settings, then Tools & Integrations, then New MCP Server, or edit ~/.cursor/mcp.json (every project) or .cursor/mcp.json (one repo) and point it at https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp.
Can I build a reporting script against my affiliate data?
Yes. Ask the Cursor agent to query your wecantrack data and write the script, the job or the dashboard around it, all in the same window.
What data can Cursor see?
Cursor reads the attributed conversion data in your wecantrack dashboard, including your transactions with advertiser, commission, status, SubIDs and EPC. It reads that data to answer you and to write the code you ask for.
Can my team share the setup?
Yes. Commit the project .cursor/mcp.json to your repo, and everyone who opens the project gets the same wecantrack connector.
How is this different from the Claude and ChatGPT integrations?
The connection is the same wecantrack MCP connector. Cursor is best for building reporting code against your data, Claude for deep analysis and report writing, and ChatGPT for fast questions across a wider team.
