How to connect GitHub Copilot to wecantrack
1 In VS Code, run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, then choose HTTP.
This is a closed Beta feature and you’ll have to reach out to [email protected] and request access for your account.
Agent mode and MCP work on any GitHub Copilot plan, including the free tier. Business or Enterprise admins may need to allow MCP servers first.

How does GitHub Copilot connect to wecantrack?
In VS Code, run MCP: Add Server, choose HTTP, and enter https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp. Sign in when prompted, then use GitHub Copilot Chat in agent mode. It reads your attributed wecantrack data through the connector.
Where can I find the wecantrack MCP server URL?
It is shown on the MCP page inside your wecantrack account. Copy https://app.wecantrack.com/mcp and add it in VS Code. This URL may change while MCP is in beta.
Do I need a paid version of GitHub Copilot?
No. Agent mode and MCP work on any GitHub Copilot plan, including the free tier (with a monthly request cap). On Business or Enterprise, an admin may need to allow MCP servers first.
What data can GitHub Copilot see?
GitHub Copilot reads the attributed conversion data in your wecantrack dashboard, including transactions with advertiser, commission, status, SubIDs and EPC. It reads that data to answer you and help with your code.
Does it work outside VS Code?
VS Code is the simplest path. GitHub Copilot also supports MCP in Visual Studio and JetBrains, and the wecantrack connector URL is the same.
How is this different from the other integrations?
The connection is the same wecantrack MCP connector. GitHub Copilot works inside your editor, Cursor and Windsurf also build reporting code, and Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini suit chat-style questions.
