Requirements

Newsbreak Ads Integration activation guide

  • Within your Newsbreak Ads account, go to ‘Event Management’ > ‘Web Event’ 
  • Now you can click ‘Create/test web event’
  • Give your new event a ‘name’
  • Select the ‘event tracking type’ as ‘Postback’
  • Select ‘3rd party tracking service’ to ‘Others’
  • For ‘Count’ select the option ‘Every’
  • For ‘conversion event’ please select the option ‘Complete Payment’
  • Tick the box ‘Event Value’
  • Scroll all the way to be bottom at the section ‘Test Postback integration’
  • Add your website URL and include the following parameter ‘nbclid=__CALLBACK_PARAM__’
  • Example: https://example.com/test/?nbclid=__CALLBACK_PARAM__
  • Click ‘Go Test’
  • After clicking a new browser window will automatically open
  • Please copy the full URL and place it in the section below and click ‘Submit’
(must include nbclid parameter and adblockers must be turned off)
  • Go back to newsbreak ads and the event should now have been validated.
  • Click ‘Save’
  • Go back to your wecantrack account and under > Features you can enable the Newsbreak ads integration

How to track Nesbreak Ads campaigns in wecantrack & GA4?

To keep track of your Newsbreak ads campaigns on both the wecantrack dashboard and Google Analytics, it is essential to incorporate UTM parameters in the destination URLs used for your Newsbreak ads.
