In order to integrate Impact conversions in Google Analytics and other marketing tools, it is necessary to attribute the sales data to the traffic data. Our service automatically places SubIDs in your affiliate links, which enables us to automatically match your traffic and affiliate conversion data.
The installation is done in four simple steps:
To track all your Impact conversions you need to provide us with an API Key, user Application Key and Partner ID for each of your Impact partner accounts. Those credentials need to be filled in within our data sources page which you can find by following this link:Â https://app.wecantrack.com/user/data-source/networks/impact/accounts/create
You can give each of the data connections different names and tags which enables you to easily filter your data on account or sub account level.
You have the option to decide whether you want to connect your Impact network account to our system via API or Postback URL. Only one integration method is required.
If you want to use the Postback URL connection instead of the API, all you need to do is generate a Postback URL on our platform, which you will then place in your Impact affiliate network account. You can generate your Impact Postback URL here: https://app.wecantrack.com/user/data-source/networks/impact/accounts/create
Once you fully connected your Impact partner accounts to wecantrack you have the possibility to let us integrate those into your Google Analytics accounts. To accomplish that only two more steps are needed (JavaScript insertion and Ecommerce activation in Google Analytics accounts) which should not take longer than 10 minutes.
When you import your conversions to Google Analytics there is only one more step required to import relevant conversions to Google Ads. All you need to do is connect your Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts and import the transaction conversions within the conversions section of Google Ads. You can also integrate your affiliate conversions directly in Google Ads without using Google Analytics.
Once you have connected your Impact partner accounts and websites to our system, we can integrate affiliate conversion data coming from Microsoft Ads campaigns in your Microsoft Ads account. All you need to do is activate our Microsoft Ads integration feature and set up a conversion goal within your Microsoft Ads account and we will push the conversions to your campaigns.
With wecantrack you can integrate your affiliate sales into Facebook Ads Manager. That simple but revolutionary method will allow you to optimize your Impact Facebook campaigns in order to achieve the best ROI's. By using our integration, you can easily import your Impact affiliate conversion data in your Facebook Pixel via the Facebook Conversion API. Simply add your Impact partner account and your website to our system and we will do the rest!
Connecting Impact to wecantrack is worth it if you fall into any of these buckets:
Impact runs affiliate, influencer, and B2B partnership programs for thousands of brands. Connect your Impact partner account to wecantrack and every commission gets matched to the click, campaign, and keyword that produced it.
We recommend the API integration. Both methods deliver conversions to wecantrack, but the API pulls richer transaction detail (advertiser, SubID, commission breakdown, action status) directly from Impact, while the Postback URL only fires per-conversion. You only need one method connected.
Whatever the advertiser is paying you for — a sale, a qualified lead, a SaaS signup, an app install, or a custom action. Impact reports each action with its advertiser, SubID, payout amount, and status (pending, approved, reversed). wecantrack captures all of that and matches it to the click that drove it.
Yes. Once Impact is connected, wecantrack deduplicates each commission against the original click and sends it into Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager using each platform's native offline conversion import. You see Impact commission revenue alongside the campaign, ad group, and keyword that drove it.
No. The Impact Auth Token and Account SID are generated inside your Impact publisher dashboard and pasted into wecantrack. The Postback URL alternative is also a copy-paste setup. Wiring conversions to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta is handled inside the wecantrack UI.
Yes. Impact supports SubID parameters on every advertiser link, so you can label traffic by channel, creative, page, or campaign. wecantrack reads those SubIDs across all your advertisers, so you can slice Impact commission revenue by whichever dimension you pass through.
Most partners finish the Impact API setup in under ten minutes — copy the Auth Token and Account SID from Impact, paste them into wecantrack, done. The longer part, if you have not done it before, is the initial wecantrack onboarding to your ad platforms, which is a one-time setup shared across every network you add.
Grow your affiliate income with affiliate conversion tracking in tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads and more.
