How to integrate Scaleo affiliate conversions in Google Analytics

To integrate your Scaleo conversions with Google Analytics and other marketing tools, we need to match your sales data to your traffic data. This can be done by using the automatic SubIDs placed in your Scaleo affiliate links by our service. These SubIDs allow us to automatically match your traffic and affiliate conversion data, enabling you to track and analyze the performance of your marketing campaigns more effectively.

The installation is done in four simple steps:

  1. Create a wecantrack account
  2. Connect your Scaleo account to our system via API
  3. Connect your website to our system
  4. Activate the integration feature

How to connect your Scaleo account via API

To track all your Scaleo conversions you need to provide us with the API Key, API Subdomain (required for standard Scaleo platform), and the Custom Tracking URL (required for custom Scaleo platforms). You have to provide this information for each of your Scaleo accounts. Those credentials need to be filled in within our data sources page which you can find by following this link: https://app.wecantrack.com/user/data-source/networks/scaleo/accounts/create

You can give each of the data connections different names and tags which enables you to easily filter your data on account or sub account level.

Where can I find the Scaleo API Key and API Subdomain?

  • Log into your Scaleo affiliate panel.
  • Go to Account > API.
  • Generate an API Key and note your API Subdomain (your Scaleo installation's hostname).
  • Paste both into the wecantrack Scaleo data source.
  • Log into your Scaleo account
  • On the main menu, click on Tools:

Where can I find the Scaleo Custom Tracking URL?

  • Inside your Scaleo panel, your Custom Tracking URL is set under Settings > Tracking.
  • Copy the Custom Tracking URL and paste it into the wecantrack Scaleo data source alongside your API Key and Subdomain.
  • Log into your Scaleo account
  • Fill in the Tracking URL for custom Scaleo platforms. Please note that when filling in a Tracking URL, the subdomain is no longer required. You can get the Tracking URL from the network's support.
