Digidip API Integration

Digidip’s automatic content-to-affiliate-link conversions flow into Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, ChatGPT and Meta Ads with wecantrack, through API and postback connections.

How to integrate Digidip affiliate conversions in Google Analytics

In order to integrate Digidip conversions in Google Analytics and other marketing tools, it is necessary to attribute the sales data to the traffic data. Our service automatically places SubIDs in your affiliate links, which enables us to automatically match your traffic and affiliate conversion data.

The installation is done in four simple steps:

  1. Create a wecantrack account
  2. Connect your Digidip account to our system via API
  3. Connect your website to our system
  4. Activate the integration feature

How to connect your Digidip account via API

If you want to connect your Digidip account with our system, you need to provide us with an API key for each Digidip account and with publisher IDs of all your Digidip sub accounts. Those credentials need to be filled in within our data sources page which you can find by following this link: https://app.wecantrack.com/user/data-source/networks/digidip/accounts/create

You can give each of the data connections different names and tags. This enables you to easily filter your data on account or sub account level.

Where can I find the Digidip API credentials?

  • Log into your Digidip account
  • On the left side menu go to “Tools” and click on “Main API” (or follow this link https://digidip.net/publisher/tools/general-api)
  • Tick the box “Enable API authentication” and you can now set your API credentials: Username and Password.

Where can I find the Digidip Project IDs?

  • Log into your Digidip account
  • Once logged in you need to go to your project list page that shows all your sub accounts (link: https://digidip.net/publisher/projects/list)
  • Click on a project. In the URL you can find an ID. Example: XXX representing your project ID: https://digidip.net/publisher/projects/detail/XXX/settings

Who is the Digidip integration for

Connecting Digidip to wecantrack makes sense if you fall into any of these buckets:

  • Editorial and content sites using Digidip's JavaScript snippet to auto-monetise outbound links who need per-merchant commission data back in Google Analytics.
  • Publishers with large article archives whose editors write merchant mentions without affiliate links and rely on Digidip to convert them automatically, needing clean attribution back to article and Project ID.
  • Paid media buyers running Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Meta to Digidip-monetised landing pages and needing CPS commission data flowing back for ROAS optimisation.
  • Multi-property publisher groups managing portfolios across multiple Digidip Project IDs who need clean per-property attribution in one dashboard.
  • Existing wecantrack customers adding Digidip alongside Skimlinks, Sovrn, and other content-monetisation platforms for unified content-affiliate reporting.
