How to integrate Otto affiliate program conversions in Google Analytics

In order to integrate Otto affiliate conversions in Google Analytics and other marketing tools, it is necessary to attribute the sales data to the traffic data. Our system automatically places SubIDs in all your affiliate links, which enables us to automatically match your traffic and affiliate conversion data.

The installation is done in four simple steps:

  1. Create a wecantrack account
  2. Connect your Otto account to our system via API
  3. Connect your website to our system

Otto Partner Affiliate program is powered by the Easy Marketing platform for advertisers. To track all your Otto Affiliate conversions you need to provide us with an Access Token, User ID, Advertiser Domain and Currency for each of your Otto Affiliate accounts. Those credentials need to be filled in within our data sources page (Easy Marketing integration) which you can find by following this link: https://app.wecantrack.com/user/data-source/networks/otto/accounts/create

You can give each of the data connections different names and tags which enables you to easily filter your data on account or sub account level.

Where can I find my Otto affiliate Access Token?

  • Otto's affiliate program runs on Awin, so the Access Token is the Awin Personal Access Token.
  • Log into your Awin publisher dashboard.
  • Go to Account > Web Services and generate a Personal Access Token.
  • Copy the token and paste it into the wecantrack Otto data source.
  • Log into your Otto Affiliate account
  • Go to stats – API
  • At the bottom of the page you can find the Access Token (at the bottom of “/statistic-api.do” page)

Where can I find my Otto Affiliate User IDs?

  • Your Awin User IDs (Website IDs) are listed under Account > Network Profile.
  • Copy the relevant Website IDs and paste them into the wecantrack Otto data source.
  • Log into your Otto Partner Affiliate account
  • You can find your User-ID on the top of the page next to “settings”

How to import Otto affiliate conversions to Google Analytics?

Once you fully connected your Otto affiliate accounts to wecantrack you have the possibility to let us integrate those into your Google Analytics accounts. To accomplish that only two more steps are needed (JavaScript insertion and Ecommerce activation in Google Analytics accounts) which should not take longer than 10 minutes.
